John Hart

has had an outstanding career in both business and sport.
John spent 30 years with the Fletcher Challenge Group, the last ten of which in the role of Employee Relations Director he oversaw the development and co-ordination of the Human Resources function for the 30,000 employees across Fletcher Challenge’s international operations.
Following an outstanding coaching career with Auckland and New Zealand Development sides, in 1995 he was appointed All Blacks Coach to lead the All Blacks into the professional era. During his four year tenure as All Blacks Coach the All Blacks became the first New Zealand side to win a series in South Africa, as well as winning the Tri Nations Series in 1996-97 and 1999.
John was awarded the ONZM in 1997, has published two best selling books, and in 1997 was voted New Zealander of the Year by the National Business Review.
He currently runs his own consulting business and is a Director of Sky Network Television, Cullen Sports, Vodafone New Zealand Warriors, Bayleys Corporation, and a number of private organisations.
